AcceptanceConstruction and demolition waste

Construction and demolition waste is a mixed waste stream consisting waste of building materials and demolition works. This waste stream contains of a mixture of stone, metal, (packaging) film, hard plastic, wood, paper and cardboard. These materials are highly recyclable. Thereore adhering substances may make up no more than 10% of the volume of a container. If more than that, recycling will be less efficient or not possible at all.

Allowed

  • Rubble (brick, masonry, concrete, and pavers)
  • Plastic (packaging film and shrink wrap)
  • Wood (painted and unpainted, hardboard, window frames, and particle board)
  • Metals (iron, non-ferrous materials, aluminum, copper, zinc and tin)
  • Glass (sheet glass, with or without frame)
  • Paper & cardboard (clean, not contaminated with substances such as soil/sand)
  • Gypsum concrete and aerated concrete (max 10%)
  • Softboard (max 10%)
  • Styrofoam, EPS, PIR, glass wool, and rock wool (max 10%)
  • Gypsum board and gypsum remnants, not in powder form (max 10%)
  • Roof waste, roofing material remnants (max 10%)
  • Sand, masonry sand, paving sand (max 10%)

Not allowed

  • WEEE, refrigerators, freezers, electrical appliances, and solar panels
  • Plastic rolls, drainage pipes, cables, weed control fabric, and big bags
  • C-wood that has been impregnated (garden wood) or used as a water barrier
  • Batteries and accumulators (all types) to be offered separately
  • Bales of of paper or plastics
  • Asbestos, asbestos-like materials, and NT corrugated roof
  • Garbage bags with regular household waste or business waste
  • Bulky waste household items, sofas, and mattresses
  • Rubber (car tires, bicycle tires, and technical rubber)
  • Soil (topsoil and potting soil)
  • Green waste (pruning waste, garden waste, grass sods, and reeds)
  • Contaminated (chimney debris, soot residue, and combustion waste)
  • HHW (Household Hazardous Waste) all hazardous waste materials: oil-containing, full paint cans, caulking cartridges and PUR (polyurethane foam) cans, fluorescent tubes, smoke detectors, pasty waste substances

Construction and demolition waste < 50% recyclable

In case of a large quantity of one of the above-mentioned waste materials, it is preferred to collect this wasteseparately. This  leads to better recyclable raw materials and is in many case even Less expensive.
